The role and toll of Antwerp in W.W.2.
During W.W.2 in and around the Antwerp parc "Den Brandt" the headquarters of the German 89th Army Corps was established, responsible for the Atlantikwall in Belgium and Zeeland.
Now this listed bunker village is a museum where in addition to the Atlantikwall also the V-weapons on Antwerp are given attention.
The non-profit association Bunker & Plane Archeo Antwerp invites you to come and discover upto 3 different bunkers during our monthly opening, a guided tour by appointment or one of our special events.

The role and toll of Antwerp in W.W.2.
In this section more information can be found on the history of the site and different bunker types that were built.
For the crucial role of her port in W.W.2, the city of Antwerp and surrounding area paid a very heavy toll under the V1 and V2 weapons.
Sinds 1999 werken vrijwilligers aan de bunkers, maak hier kennis met het huidige team en haar partners.

Outside of the regular opening hours a guided tour can be booked.
A visit by yourself?
The information inside the museum is fully bilingual! Except in January, it's open every first weekend of the month; on Saturday from 13h to 17h and Sunday from 10h to 17h.
