"Sanitätsunterstand"
The “VF57a” is described on the documentation as “Führungstand oder Sanitätsunterstand” (command post or medical quarter), “Bauform 57a” in “Verstärkt feldmässig” and “stahlbeton” (reinforced concrete) version. The plan with the ventilation and heating refers specifically to a “Sanitätsunterstand” in Vf version and gives the name “bauform 57m” .

Except for the extra inner wall in the right room, the model of the bunker in Antwerp corresponds to the standard "bauform 57a". The Antwerp example was also equipped with ventilation and heating as indicated on the plan for "bauform 57m".
It was refurbished, the shard walls restored and has been brought back to life often during special events with re-enactors.
