In March, just like last year, history will come to life again in Park den Brandt.
Thanks to npo Frontleven, several other bunkers will once again be open to visitors that weekend and in a very unique way. Those who visited earlier editions will surely confirm that these re-enactors, with their eye for detail, always manage to transform the bunkers and surroundings into a true time machine.
German and Allied troops will once again reside in and around the bunkers to introduce visitors to the life of soldiers in WWII. As was the case more than 80 years ago along the Atlantic Wall, the German troops will be involved in various training courses. After taking the bunkers, the Allied troops will mainly need some well-earned rest and also bring a field kitchen where (all) the soldiers will be able to join in.

On both 1 and 2 March, all of this, just like the museum, will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm. We hope, together with npo Frontleven, to once again offer many people a unique introduction to this Antwerp Atlantic Wall heritage, and of course to see many old acquaintances again!
